Papito`s Mexican Restaurant in Flowood

Great food, drinks, and service. The carne asada entree and tacos are my favorite. Never disappoints.

My new favorite Mexican restaurant. It was delicious! It did seem a little dirty however, our waitress was very nice and all 3 of us enjoyed our meal.

Food is consistently good, booths feel private and margaritas don't skimp on the tequila.

Impressed with social distancing, even took temperature. Awesome food and thanks for the attention to my service animal

This is one of my favorite places to eat. The staff is very pleasant and the food is consistently yummy!

The lady said my money was counterfeit because the water Mark's were not visible. The money was made in 1993 before water Mark's and it has the insert in the money. She said she was aware. I asked why didnt you purchase the pen to determine where it's real or not and not offend people just because the money is old. Target is 20 feet away

Awesome place to eat, drink and have a good time. I now go at least once a week. The food is great and the bar tenders are all VERY awesome!

The food was good. No complaints there. The person I was with was charged for a 2 for 1 margarita that she never received. When she told the waiter he said he was going to put the order in. We waited til closing time for the margarita. Never received it. When asked the waiter said that not did he make the wrong flavor(she ordered a peach and made pineapple), but he gave it to another customer and laughed it off. No one apologize or try to rectify the issue.

We ate here and the serving portions for lunch were big. The food was ok but the floor was wet under the first table we were seated at so we asked for another table. They never came back to clean the floor and it was wet even when we left. Looks like spilled drinks or something. I don’t think we will be back.

Food was ok. Appetizer arrived after meal. 🙄 Good service.

Wonderful! The food is fabulous! The waiters were hospital! The set up is great! Loved the atmosphere sound, waiters and all! Food top notch Spaniard service with the Meico (Mexico) touch! Love! Love! Love!

Terrible, I will never set foot back in there, food was awful and cost was too much .if you see someone didn't eat the food and left it on the plate you would think someone would ask questions but no ,just gave us the bill and walked away. Very disappointed

We enjoyed the experience, our first here. The server was exceptionally good and the food did not disappoint. The Chile Colorado is on point!

Excellent place to come get fajitas. You get enough food to last you for days off of one order, and the service is great even when they're busy.

The margaritas. They are proud of them and they taste like bad tequila and chemicals. I took one sip and asked the server to send it back because it was badddd. The "manager" never came to the table. Someone else was sent from behind the bar. My friend with me was insulted with "there is tequila in the drinks, we should get you in rehab". She doesnt even drink. I'm closing my table and paying for liquor that taste horrible and simply wanted to change out for a dos x. DONT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY.

Not bad... Decent service.... Decent food.... Not much better than that. I would try it again though.

Service is great and the food is even better. Get raspberry margaritas on the rocks, cold ultra and pair it with Carnitas, mmmm cant go wrong.

Food just wasnt what i expected. I ordered bruschetta shrimp tacos and they gave me tacos with only shrimp. Waitress said thats how they come...

Service is rude.. waiter walks around with Apple Airpods in his ear. Food was bland!! Not impressed

Location and service has deteriorated in a short period in Flowood. Use to be quality food and service, last few and final visit were quite the opposite. Chips were chewy, no flavor, waiter was obviously more interested in laughing with coworkers than waiting on us. I ordered fajitas, two other guest ordered taco salad. The meat in the taco salad had so much water in it we had to put a hole in the bottom of the shell to let the water drain out. The waiter brought our order out dropped it off without asking anything. We had NO SILVERWARE, NO SOUR CREAM, and NO TORTILLAS for the fajita fixings to go in. UNBELIEVABLE !!! He never even came back, we had to get up to ask someone for silverware while food was getting cold. Never checked on us for a refill of water, I had to find him just to get the ticket. $ 50.00 later we were glad to just leave.

The food was very good and the staff is awesome. I couldn't give them 5 stars because they don't have a very great liquor selection.

Delicious food!!!! This isn't the average Mexican restaurant.

Good food. Good atmosphere. I had the Patron margarita @14.99 a drink I wish they where cheaper I would drink two. 14.99$ for a single margarita is pricey in my opinion. It's good but wish they was cheeper. 🙂

I had the spinach quesadilla. If they had used 2 tortilla shells and spread the spinach and cheese out it would have been much better. But that ain't what I got. I got one tortilla shell a fudge ton of spinach and cheese and it was just too much in that small space.

Service was good, food ok.

The food was mediocre. I asked a bus boy, who was just standing by the door, for some napkins. He shook his head no and walked away. Two minutes later he came out of the door and just stood there doing nothing. We only saw our server 3 times and i had to get up to get boxes and ask for the check. I wont be back.

Excellent as always. Great food for a great price. Received our food within 10 minutes. Tasted fresh. Wonderful staff.

Great selection of food and drink items. BIG glasses for water and soft drinks which is a big plus for us!! Beef fajitas and beef taco salad were delicious. Guacamole dip as an appetizer is a must.

Good american mexican food!

Been going for years. The food is great, the service is great, and the prices are reasonable.

Ordered in. Fish ceviche, and shrimp soup. It came with tortillas, salsa, rice, and rice. Togo. There was a ton of fish in the ceviche. Wasn't huge on the shrimp soup, but everything was very well packed and a ton of food.

Great food at a great price. The pineapple chicken fajitas were amazing!

We have been to Papito's many times before, today was a very special Mother's Day late lunch. The food was very good, and the service was great. A special thank you to the staff there, we had a party of 6, and my Mother in law is disabled, I asked to move to a closer table for her convenience and the folks there couldn't have been nicer. Thanks for a very nice Mother's Day meal!!!

Very friendly staff and quick! Food was amazing, large portions, with lots of selection. Cold beer is always a plus!

My wife and I eat Mexican food approx.twice a month and this was the first time we had ever eaten at Papito's. We both thought the service and food was very good.

Wonderful food and very respectful and helpful wait staff I will be back.
